It’s that time of year—who doesn’t love all things pumpkin spice as soon as the temps drop and the leaves start falling? What we don’t love is excess sugar and ingredients we can’t pronounce in our favorite pumpkin spice latte. (Seriously, go Google your favorite latte ingredients for a full run down of what’s actually in it—eek!)
We’ve seen versions of this recipe floating around Instagram lately and had to give it a try. With a little bit of tweaking we think we finally found a pumpkin spice latte recipe that’s easy, healthy, and still tastes amazing.
This pumpkin spice latte features Young Living’s Vanilla Spice Pure Protein Complete so you’re getting a comprehensive protein supplement complete with amino acids, ancient peat and apple extract, and 25 grams of protein … in your morning joe! Not to mention it’s less than 1/3 of the sugar than that ever popular pumpkin spice latte so you can treat yourself without the guilt. Make your coffee organic and dare we say it, your morning treat might also actually be a treat for your body, too!
Easy + Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte
12 oz. coffee (we use this decaf coffee so my girls can enjoy it, too)
1/4 cup organic pumpkin puree (measuring not required—we just used a big spoonful)
2 scoops Young Living Vanilla Spice Pure Protein Complete
1-2 tsp. pure maple syrup, to taste
Milk or creamer of choice, as desired (we use this one)
Add all ingredients to a 32 oz. wide mouth mason jar or blender. Whip well to combine ingredients and create a good froth. We have this frother and it’s the BEST. Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Enjoy!
