I crave community and relationships which is one of the main reasons I decided to join this wonderful oily tribe! I am a Jesus follower, a wife, a mama through adoption, and the craziest cat lady you’ll ever meet. If it wasn’t for my husband putting his foot down I would have a bazillion cats living in my home. I love coffee, tiramisu, all things local and handmade, and am passionate about pursuing natural wellness as a lifestyle. One of my little family’s life dreams is to someday own some land and homestead together.

My journey with oils began four years ago when we went to Uganda to meet our son. At that time I didn’t really know or understand the benefits of using essential oils but for some reason I grabbed one little bottle that has been sitting on my shelf collecting dust, threw it in my bag and off we went. The plant goodness in that little bottle (Valor) ended up being so incredibly life-giving for our family during those nine weeks in Uganda. Looking back now and seeing how far we have come, I realize how that special bottle ended up being a huge support to us as we walked through that hard and emotional transition together. Unknowingly grabbing that oil and tossing it into my bag was one of the best things that happened to me. Since that day I have grown to love oils immensely and I now incorporate them into our lives on a daily basis. Oils are a gift to wellness.
